Duplex Grinding

For product requiring very fine tolerances and surface finishes we have a range of Duplex Grinding and Honing Machines capable of achieving this.

Duplex Grinding allows flat material to be ground on both sides simultaneously, thereby offering a quicker process than traditional grinding, whilst also maintaining the overall flatness.  Range: 15mm To 225mm Outside Diameter, subject to thickness (1.5mm and above).  Standard Grinding tolerances are 0.01mm – again subject to thickness.

Honing of washers which require a fine hole tolerance then our Honing equipment can achieve this and also improve the surface texture. Hole sizes range from 10mm to 125mm.
